Cobalt Kinetics will only exchange goods if they are defective or damaged. In circumstances where you consider a product defective, you should promptly contact us through your sales representative or through our administrative email ( Your communications should include details of the product and the defect. We will promptly review your request. We will then contact you and coordinate the shipping of the defective product to Cobalt Kinetics. In most instances, Cobalt Kinetics will incur the cost of shipping when the product is indeed defective. Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. There are many instances where Cobalt Kinetics can repair or change defective parts; Cobalt Kinetics reserves the right to determine if repairing the product is a viable option. In instances where the product you returned is either sold-out or back-ordered, your sales representative will consult with you to select a comparable price alternative.


Cobalt Kinetics is not obligated to honor a refund request; however, in most instances, Cobalt Kinetics will honor the request. To request a refund, please contact your sales representative or email Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping. Additionally, Cobalt Kinetics will charge a 15% restocking fee on all returns. If there is material damage to the product additional charges may be assessed.
